Derived from a proactive policy of more than 10 years of Sustainable Development, Meralliance has a wide lead in the Agribusiness Industry.
The only firm in its business sector to hold the Quality Safety Environment Certification (October 2005), Meralliance was the first company to obtain the IFS standard (International Food Standard) (July 2005).
These certifications show our involvement in a sustainable process, and Meralliance pursues its policy of sustainable development each day via a process based on ethics and its various challenges.
Meralliance, Signatory to the Global Pact
The Meralliance Company has committed itself to a policy of Sustainable Development by supporting the ten principles of the Global Pact. The objective is the implementation of actions that reduce the work-related accidents and Repetitive Strain Injuries of staff working for the firm. These actions are performed within the framework of the OHSAS 18001 standard relating to the health and safety of staff.
The Meralliance Company was chosen as the pilot firm for an RSI preventive action in collaboration with the Regional Work Directorate and the CRAM.
