Our training center : the Thai Union Academy FRANCE
The Qualiopi-certified Thai Union Academy was created with the idea of nurturing talent: our in-house school aims to inspire vocations through training courses tailored to current market needs.
The 6-month part-time training course culminates in a recognised diploma registered on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP) and the possibility of being recruited by the company. The diploma awarded is also recognised by the food industry, broadening learners’ career prospects.

Training courses on offer
We provide training in the most sought-after food industry professions: production operator, line driver, maintenance technician.
The teaching team is made up of tutors specially trained in the AFEST ‘On-the-job training’ methodology and MerAlliance trade experts who share their passion and know-how.
80% of the training course takes place in a real-life workshop situation, with the remainder providing theoretical knowledge of hygiene, health and safety, the environment, LEAN, professional communication, maintenance, product technology, processes, etc.
Don’t panic! All the theoretical modules are designed to be as close as possible to what’s happening in the field. In particular, we use a participative and entertaining approach.
The benefits of training:
A practical approach
learning on modern equipment adapted to real needs.
Training supervised by experts
supervision provided by trainers and tutors with industrial experience.
Rapid integration into the world of work
a job with MerAlliance and prospects for promotion to supervisory or technical maintenance posts are also possible with experience.

How the work-linked training scheme works
There’s no need to look for a company – it’s all part of the course! You sign a contract (Pro A if you are already employed by MerAlliance), or a 6-month professional training contract (if this is your first contract with us).
Theoretical training and practical work take place on the same site, so you don’t have to worry about extra travel or accommodation.
You will be paid throughout the training period.
The certification awarded on completion of the course is listed in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP) and recognised by the food industry.
