Ecosystem restoration

Global urgency
Protecting and restoring ecosystems is essential to preserving the balance of our planet. Ecosystems, whether on land or at sea, play a vital role in regulating the climate, providing drinking water and harbouring essential biodiversity.
Their deterioration threatens not only the species that live there, but also the human populations that depend on them. By restoring these fragile environments, we can strengthen their resilience in the face of climate change and ensure a sustainable future for all.

Integrated approach
MerAlliance invests with local stakeholders in programmes that restore and protect the elements essential to the longevity and sustainability of marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
The approach is based not only on a plan for direct action on the ground, but also on an educational dimension aimed at the younger generation.
Our goals
To support and get involved in local initiatives to restore ecosystems and share knowledge of the oceans and local flora and fauna, particularly among young people:
Sponsor of the Océanopolis Acts foundation:
Support for the educational programme to share knowledge about the ocean, and actions to preserve coastal ecosystems to raise awareness and train people in sustainable practices
Sponsor of the Bretagne Vivante association
Support for actions contributing to the objective of learning about Brittany’s natural heritage and protecting our environment
