Safe, decent & equitable work

Global urgency
Safe, decent, and equitable work are the foundational building blocks for any successful business. This includes, but is not limited to fair wages, employment security, health and safety, non-discrimination, equal opportunity, and respect for workers’ rights.
Protecting employees and investing in fair solutions helps to promote social inclusion and support sustainable economic development.

Integrated approach
To guarantee safe and healthy working conditions for our colleagues, we place safety at the forefront of our daily concerns. MerAlliance promotes a strong culture of safety at work by applying the RACE method, a virtuous and empowering approach developed by Thai Union.
Our approach also incorporates a career development policy that promotes career advancement thanks to the internal mobility opportunities offered by our Group, and a skills development plan via internal training (Thai Union Academy) and external training.
In partnership with local stakeholders, we are also pursuing an inclusive policy to promote the integration of workers who are far from employment, jobseekers or people with disabilities.
Our goals
To guarantee a respectful and safe working environment that fosters the integration and development of all employees :
