MORE THAN 50 YEARS
OF EXPERTISE

The company was created in 1971, in Brittany in Rosporden (Finistère, France).

Smoked salmon specialist, MerAlliance has ever since consolidated its expertise in the service of private labels. It has always attested of its adaptation capacity to the markets, acquiring extra know-hows via investments and the enrichment of internal skills..

1971

Creation of the company Armoric in Rosporden (Finistère, France), specialized in smoked salmon.

1999

Expansion of the product range to smoked wild fish by the takeover of Profumer (Lorient, Morbihan, France).

2001

Takeover of the smoked salmon production site Narvik in Landivisiau (Finistère, France) which will become the supply chain platform of the group.

2002

Armoric, Narvik and Profumer merge to form MerAlliance. The company then becomes leader of the producers of smoked salmon under private labels.

2014

MerAlliance joins Thai Union Group, on a global scale and leader in the seafood products.

2016

Launch of the Petit Navire smoked fish range in the fresh department

2023

Launch of the Thai Union Academy in France, an internal training structure for our professions

OUR QUALITY
POLICY

Only company in its industry with the Quality Security Environment certification (October 2005), MerAlliance was the first French company in its industry to obtain the IFS standard (International Food Standard, July 2005). In 2014 and 2015, the quality system was completed by being the first French smoker getting the ASC certification, dedicated to sustainable aquaculture, and the Global G.A.P. certification (GGN : CoC_4056186180469). Then in 2018, MerAlliance reached for the first time the Excellence level of RSE26000 recognition.That all confirms its commitment to sustainable development and client satisfaction. .
